Week 5 Progress

This week the group estimated how much money would be required to carry out this project. The money will be used for the purchasing of different types of knee braces, the ballistics gel required to model the ACL, the crock pot necessary to melt down the ballistics gel, and any other materials required to complete the project. Below is the group's predicted budget required to complete the project:

The group will also collect from Dr. Siegler a anatomically correct model of a knee, along with a knee brace, This model will be our testing site, as we will place our own ACL model inside this knee, place our designed brace on the knee, and put the model through a series of tests simulating running, changing direction, and other sports related movements.
